Just curious if we took a look or are taking a look at this kid. I guess it would be hard not to, considering he's a teammate of our 6-10 signee Nate Springs. I'm asking this apart from what our current scholarship situation is; as we know, things can change on a dime. The scouting report below is from the Palmetto Winter Classic (in South Carolina) where United Faith is playing its third game as I write this. They lost by five in the first game (Nate had 11 points), blown away in the second (Nate had two points).

6’8 unsigned senior KC Hankton (United Faith) – Hankton can flat out score the ball. He showed the ability in all 3 levels with touch, footwork and skill. Hankton has great size and the lefty has a toughness about him on the boards, grabbing them strongly with 2 hands. He has had a lot of coaches watching and he finished this one with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks.

As of now we have no open scholarships for next year. It would take someone leaving the program for another spot to open up. So it could happen, but don't expect us to get any commitments until it does.

He's got offers from some comparable schools: Toledo, Hofstra, EKU, Kent State, Winthrop and Charlotte.
