Caleb Terry son of former Ohio Bobcat Basketball Player Jason Terry, Caleb Terry good mid range shooter, uses right and left hand for down low hook shots, great shot blocker and can shoot the 3 ball but doesn't shoot the long ball much. good Free Throw shooter, He's a decent rebounder but needs to get a little stronger. he has pretty good coordination, his teammates don't always make the best passes on Alley-Oop Dunks that he has to go after to finish, Caleb is a player Ohio needs to keep an eye on.

Anyone that big and in the area is definitely something to keep an eye on. Watching some of highlights though he doesn't look as quick as he needs to be at the D-1 Level. And as you mentioned, looks like a railroad track on tape.

Last night against Meigs, game in Pomeroy, Caleb had 13 points, 9 boards, 5 blocks, was 1 for 1 behind the arc and had a nice Alley-Oop Dunk on a fast break. got in early foul trouble and had to sit, Alexander was down 15 in 2nd quarter but cut it to 8 by halftime, Spartan coach rolled with Caleb in the 2nd half and Alexander pulls out a 54 to 41 win. Alexander Spartans are 11 & 1 -- 7 & 1 in the TVC

Him being a JR. and growing so fast in a short period of time, he does need to get stronger, but he keeps getting better and better, kid has a nice touch shooting the ball. Just have to watch him in person to get the whole picture. Big change from last year to this year in his play.

Thanks for the scout reporting, Gman. I would love to see another good local kid on our men's basketball team. Dominique Doseck from Athens is certainly doing very well with the ladies!

And she showed it yesterday, 21 points on 6 for 10 from three point land, along with 5 steals as the women blow out EMU 85-44.

I know. I was there and witnessed it in person. That's why her name was on the top of my brain.

If Saul was really serious about local talent one would think her would have given Bo Myers in Logan a look. 6'5", wing/point, averaging about 27 points a game and holding his own with some of the better programs in Columbus. We probably don't have space for a guy like that though....

I remember Jason very well. Was a bit of a project early but really came into his own and had a very solid career. I don't know how you pass on the Son of a former Bobcat unless he just isn't D-1 caliber. If he gets bigger/stronger, will we even be in the mix?

I am still chapped about losing Camron Brooks Harris (Zanesville) and
Taevion Kinsey (Columbus Eastmoor) to Marshall.

Both are the kind of athletes I do not see enough of on our Bobcat Team. It was recently evident against Toledo.

Pass? That is funny. Seen him play? I would not be so quick, we have several guys on our roster who would fight to get minutes at Malone.

Caleb a JR. just needs to get stronger, has good timing on blocking shots, on the opening play Friday night, he comes to the top of the key to set a pick Meigs switches and leaves Caleb open, he buries the 3 and Meigs didn't leave him open like that anymore. He's a good mid-range shooter with moves around the basket
, downfall he needs to get more physical and stronger.

Frank passes on former players sons all the time. Former QB and Columbus Mifflin’s coach Anthony Thorton has a son just finished his official visit at Tennessee and Anthony can’t even get the coaches to return his calls about his son or other city league players. He’s had the Athletic department on blast on FB for sometime, and there seems to be many former Cats sharing the same stories. Sad.

Hopefully our new Basketball Coach next year will have a different outlook on things and keep these good local kids close to home.

I have seen him play. He is good. Actually, I am surprised Saul hasn't given him a look, he seems like just his type of player.
