Miami will have two Pick Central players on its roster next year, a soph and a frosh. North Carolina will have two, a junior and a frosh. Pick Central is as good a program as there is in Central Ohio and I hope the new coaching staff will get a foot in the door.

Ohio's recruits from Pick Central from recent years were Caris Levert and Rodney Culver and we all know how those two turned out.

Miami's current guy went to Pick North.

I believe we also offered Adrian Nelson currently at NKU.

Yep. His name is Elijah McNamara and I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone before next season. Saw him play twice his senior year at North and was very surprised he got a MAC scholly. This year at Fiami he shot 29% from the floor, 18% from the arc and 50% at the free throw line. Two words: Ug lee. Actually, he's so bad I hope he stays in Oxford.

Now, on to Sterling Manley at UNC, who we offered. He was out injured for the better part of two months and now that he's healthy, rarely plays. Got on the court for a couple minutes last week during a blowout of Jim Christian's BC team on the Eagles' senior day.

I'm pretty sure we also offered Jeremiah Francis when he was a freshman or sophomore. I don't think he's played either h.s. or college ball in two years because of injuries. He's missed his entire freshman year at UNC and I haven't heard anything about his status since before the season.

Francis is a HS senior. Has sat out the past two years due to leg injury.

That's OK. I posted that McNamara went to Pick Central, when in fact he went to Pick North.

Not to thread drift, but recruiting the AAU All Ohio Red squad is what we really need to be looking at. If I recall, that's where a lot of recent success stories have come from: Jaaron, Jordy, Stevie Taylor, maybe LeVert, Culver and others as well. I cant remember if Jason Carter came from there or not.

Funny, Sterling's father works at the furniture store where I purchased a piece of furniture. Very nice guy and said his son loved Athens and the program. When I spoke to him, Sterling was getting ready to make his decision and he told me he wanted the chance to go to UNC because not many get that opportunity.
