Mind naming names?
As we have seen every year, transfers happen. Venturing a guess, Springs, McMurray, and Murrell. We can revisit this next year.

Easy, alright?
We have different opinions about the future success of the program. This is Coach Boals’ team now, not Saul’s.
Of the three, I think Murrell has the best chance of sticking. Rooting for Springs and McMurray and hope they turn out to be D-One caliber players. Obviously, we can't make a judgement right now because nobody has seen Springs play wearing a Bobcat uniform and McMurray got hurt.

We will keep Murrell just because of his age, but he is outclassed in the MAC, he was the 10th man at Indian Hills.
This is wrong. Murrell played better as the year went and contributed. He's got size, decent handles and shoots well. I'd like to see him take the next step next year.
I could also see Murrell doing well if our young guards do well. He was asked to do more than his skillset this past year because of our lack of depth. If he's able to play more of a poor man's Travis Wilkins role and wait for kickouts from McDay, Preston, Roderick and Price then he will excel in Boals' offense.

I think with his length, there is potential for him. The part that was tough last year is we asked a lot of him when he is still growing into his body and that did him no favors.

I'm guessing Yanni Wetzell, grad transfer from Vanderbilt is going to be one of the visitors.

Wasn't Murrell also still recovering from an ankle or foot injury from the end of his last year playing in the JUCO ranks? That might take a little while to get up to full speed if so. By the end of the year, I thought he was playing pretty well.

It's a guess but based on Twitter. He's followed by all 3 announced coaches and has already announced he's transferring. Also meets the criteria of being lookup up at by Boals. Could be wrong but I was trying to figure out who these visitors will be and this is about the only thing I could even speculate on.

I'd also like to see Issa Muhammad on that list of visitors, nothing really indicates he will be though.

Wetzell would be a perfect stopgap. He started in D2, then transferred to Vandy with offers/interest from Purdue, Texas, and Baylor. Averaged 6 points, 4 boards per game last year in 18 minutes per game.

Based on that criteria, it looks like we're probably recruiting 2020 SG Grant Huffmann and 2020 SF VonCameron Davis as well.

Davis was offered by both Ohio and Stony Brook a while back.

From what I personally saw with the progress of Murrel last year, I believe he has potential. some times there are kids that are late bloomers. I think if he has a good work ethic and eats from the local healthy buffet, gains more handles, and of course self esteem. Have a healthy summer Bud. confidence

I thought he was a spark later in the year in more than a few games. Murrell has surprising length, too. I can't remember who it was against, maybe Fiami, but there was a home game late in the year when he drove to the lane on a defender and was fouled trying to dunk on him. I think he can be a very solid player if he can get and stay healthy.

Hate to say this, but sounds like a summary of the SaulBall Era.

Again, as I stated, kid has a lot of potential. Just like I said, still growing into his body and has potential to do so, especially when he looks and plays like a solid wing.

Can you imagine Rob Senderoff and Saul P at the same Indian Hills game scouting, senderoff is recruiting the All-American point guard (Antonio Williams) and he sees Saul and gets a little scared because we have the better campus and academics, so he goes to do some recon and buys Saul a Diet Coke and ask who are you here to see and Saul says Connor Murrell, and Senderoff let’s off a sigh of relief and leaves just after half time and saul’s Work begins in the last for minutes of the game, Connor is in the last wave of players, we just have to keep being patient, his time is coming.

Tariq Balogun will be in KC this week, he looks like he could start right away, Pittsburgh and V Trch are recruiting him. If we get this guy, it is on and popping.

Was a double-double machine at Oral Roberts. Did not translate to the ACC. Suspected shoulder injury, but he would be a welcome addition.

If we get this guy we would have a team with Dartis, BVP and Preston who are all former All MAC freshmen tossed in with 3 highly rated guards and lord knows another quality recruit. Wow...just...wow.

He would be a great get, he could start right away. He will also have opportunities to score, he shot 56%. We would be a better place for him than buffalo, we have a lot of players who have went overseas, much more than Buffalo.
