The beautiful part is looking at the other schools that offered Roderick and Price. Then compare that to the schools that offered many/most of Saul's recruits. Night and day.
Maybe the ones Saul eventually signed, but not the ones he offered. Saul and Co. tried to get plenty of guys to Ohio with big offers but none ever materialized. The difference is going to be in the closing pitch.
Frankly a lot of those recruits without the bigger offers were in the last two years when his contract extension never came about. He probably had trouble selling that to better recruits.
