Would be curious for the board's take on recruiting this year, as dead period has been extended multiple times, and now discussions for giving a blanket year of eligibility to all players could occur if we go into lockdown again. What do you guys think will happen?

Figure this will make a good discussion when everything is kind of dead.....

We don't have a scholarship to give. And that's not considering the possibility of AJ Clayton coming in next year which is the discussion in his thread. If he comes aboard, someone on the current roster has to go.

Who knows what the next few months have in store? Michigan is putting a halt to all sports except college and pro for the short term. What if more states do the same? I feel so badly for the high school class of 2021. Lots of kids aren't going to get the college offers they would otherwise deserve.

I'll take it a little further in my mind: I feel bad for all these kids put in this situation, both in 2020, 2021, and beyond. Not just the ones whose recruiting prospects are potentially being messed up, but any senior and maybe junior who is having their best years of high school wrecked. The ones that get no real senior day, no senior trips, no final performances for those in the arts...the list goes on and on. I feel bad for all of them.
