Take a look at the names on the chairs in the OhioBobcats.com picture with Preston’s locker room announcement. Gareri and Dozier! Hope this isn’t an omen, lol!

Ooofff...that's something they really should be paying attention to.

There was a sentiment that maybe we were giving Khari a scholarship just because we had one to give, and his only offer at the time was NJIT. Khari actually took the scholarship that was vacated by Anrio Adams.

I think Khari could have developed into a pretty good player if it weren't for his back problems. He was a starting guard before being passed over by Dartis.
I totally agree. I was always rooting for him (and Wadley) to get to 100% so we could see those flashes he showed on a regular basis.
Exactly. 18-year-old kids are a risk. 5-stars, no-stars, no such thing as a sire-thing. Both Wadley and Khari flashed some serious potential. They didn't work out like we hoped, but those weren't risks taken without reason.

Was thinking about his recruiting thread watching Illinois game. Fascinating to read some of the replies and only 27 comments...amazing. Good stuff and thanks for re-posting.

Surprised there wasn't more hand-wringing over the signing. I guess the videos eased a lot of the angst over the lack of other offers.

I think there was a lot of hand-wringing on other threads about JP in the beginning. There was so little to know about him that folks saw another E Doz project situation.
