Now I know one of our guys is transferring if we are a Final 4 for Miguel.

In the Harris thread, I mentioned no way Boals brings in Harris and has him sit a year if he doesn't have something up his sleeve to bring in another "big" who can play immediately.

Maybe Rifen is what he has up his sleeve????

But yes...have to believe one player is transferring out and it just hasn't been publicly announced yet.

I like Miguel as an athletic banger who can play a second year with Wilson if Wilson has to sit; and a 3rd year Foster also. Nice stable of bigs by then. If Wilson can play this year then wow. But we have to beat out Umass for this kid so...

I’m not so sure about that. Boals posted a picture on Instagram of all the guys in a video conference with him. I’m starting to think it’s more of a player getting cut or just losing their scholarship but still on the team.

Could Murrell go the medical route and keep his scholly? Dude has been hurt a ton in his career.

Murrell is my guess. I believe he has already graduated.

Wilson and Miguel make our frontcourt way more physical.

I really like his post up game. Reminds me a bit of Reggie Keely, except he might be able to spread the floor a bit more. He has a good looking 3 pt stroke.

I love the physicality of our new guys..all of them. Granger was known as a banger also. Miguel and Wilson instantly add toughness and age which has desperately been missing!!!!

Lots of Sf/PF/C on this roster now. I think if I wasn't recruited by this staff and couldn't find time last year, I might want to explore my options. Over/Under 2.5 roster changes. I think I might take the over on that right now.

If Wilson is eligible, this should seal a redshirt for Foster which would be smart. Loving both of these commits. Wilson and Miguel on paper are a massive upgrade over Sly and Foster. The 2020-2021 season can’t get here fast enough.

Loving a lineup with Pres, McDay, Roderick, BVP and Wilson with Miguel, Brown, Towns and White off the bench.

This is very exciting. It makes me feel more comfortable that we can weather a few injuries and still compete. We have been painfully thin for many years now.

At the forward spots, at least. We will have at least eight guys between 6'7'' and 6'10''.

Guards are a different story. In a pinch, maybe McMurray, Towns, or Murrell can slide to the small forward spot, but all five of our guards will probably play in the rotation.

Not afraid of contact, that’s for sure. Also, he’s only been playing basketball for 6 or 7 years.
No way Coach Boals would be adding bigs if he was losing a young wing so, I feel good about that. The greedy part of me wishes we could keep em’ all though...

7 D1 Commits for Tallahassee

Tariq Silver, Oregon St
Kailex Stephens, Indiana St
Yahel Hill, Cleveland St
Eric Hester, Prairie View
Daivon Stephens, Coastal Carolina
DeAndre Gholston, Milwaukee
Jordan Guest, C of Charleston

Rifen Miguel will be #8 when he commits this week— JucoRecruiting.com (@JucoRecruiting) https://twitter.com/JucoRecruiting/status/124941188185028...
Is that the same Eric Hester that started at Florida, transferred to Akron, and then mysteriously dropped off the map?

Good signing. Scored 19pts in 2017 against the U19 USA Team. This boxscore is crazy, Carsen Edwards only scoring 3 pts in 17mins --> http://www.fiba.basketball/world/u19/2017/0207/USA-Angola...

Damn great find here on this game.

Boals is getting it done on the recruiting trail fellas...strap in for a terrific stretch of basketball over next two years with Preston, BVP and company.

He has a better 3 point shot than Vest and really seems to have the beef and toughness. Combine him with a man in Wilson and we will be tough inside. Foster surely could be redshirted to build up strength. Could also see Granger playing right away.

Welcome to Rifen, even though I am still troubled that he lists corn as the one food he avoids.
