Some of those 3's were very deep. Also showed good anticipation on defense to create turnovers and finished well at the basket. Great pickup!

Great handle and some hops for his size. Made some defenders look silly on a couple of those step back and pull up Js. Quick stroke that doesn't really need fixing. The football team could use his defensive anticipation at free safety. I like him.

Coaching staff is on fire. How does hoops get more verbals in the summer than football?

He reminds me of that kid from Upper Arlington that went to Miami and torched us on Gary Trent day. Looks too like a guy that will be up there on the school career steals list if he stays four years.

I really liked what I saw of this kid previously. Elated to learn he committed, along with the other two ballers. Still waiting for that 6-11 rim protector and we'll be good to go--a long way!

His game reminds me of Mark Sears but his ability to hit contested layups/runners in the paint remind me of JP. His shooting is just a crazy thing of his own

I have told several people this quote, “ we will see several nites that Ajay will get 15 and the guy he is guarding will get 6”
Add these words- the opponent will have 5 turnovers and Ajay will get 5 assists
The young man will make a great Bobcat , but down deep he is a bad ass DAWG

If this kid was 6'4" he'd probably be getting way more attention. I think we may have a steal here.

If Furman and Wofford wanted him, that's a great sign. Excellent programs.

Yeah Jeff, looking at my favorite site (Bart Torvik) and, over the last 3 or 4 years those schools would have been at least upper half in the MAC with their highest years at the top. Wofford really had a standout year a couple back.
As I was looking at the projection list for next year, I saw Belmont listed quite high and thought about our commit Aiden. Then I searched upwards for Georgia and then rechecked the top 100 because I didn’t see it there. Finally, I found it in the 200+range for next year…They have a tough hill to climb in the SEC for sure.

Why? The whole of the basketball coaching world seems to look for players with more height and "length" all the time. The NBA is always looking at guys with "potential" that are a lot taller than 6'0" but aren't yet polished players while there are great 4-year college players that don't fit that NBA mold.

Nah, the most pointless line is saying a team has to win by outscoring the other.

Actually, the phrase "score the ball" might be.
