Seeing power forwards from Kentucky makes me remember Carson Williams and how having him with BVP and Jason Carter would have been a lethal frontcourt. Speaking of which, his career took quite the turn. Didn't realize he actually made an NFL roster for a while.

And, at his age, the kid's probably still growing, so 7-0 is probably not out of the question, FearLeon. However, he might have trouble breaking into the lineup right away in the 2024 with Wiznitzer 3.0 starting his senior year. ;-)

Awesome get. Part of me wishes he could reclassify and enroll early but nice to land a much needed big nonetheless.

Totally agree....but just happy that this staff is understanding we have to develop a quality big from the HS level and not necessarily rely on portal bigs each season where we got out paid this go-around for targets.

Evans, coming in a 6’10” himself, has taken full advantage of his height, averaging 16.1 points per game on a very efficient 62.2% shooting, most of which comes from the interior.

This signing has me pumped! A young talented center prospect with a ton of potential. The future of Ohio basketball looks bright with the caliber of talent Boals is bringing to Athens.

Oh for sure. Guards/wings in the portal and bigs from HS might be the formula. Is there ANY chance he can reclassify? Been seeing that a lot on Twitter this summer with other recruits.
