Kevin Ollie fired with cause: https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/uconn-f... /

The more head coaching vacancies the better. I'm rooting for Buffalo today just so there's a better chance someone signs Oats.

Disagree. The MAC needs more coaches like Oats, not fewer.

I'm there with you. I think the league can be like the MVC with good personnel and money. We got so much stability. Problem for me moves forward in that the MAC Tourney needs to be in Cleveland all week and not the first round games elsewhere personally.

Heck of a paragraph here

"Ollie coached UConn a total of six seasons and never finished better than tied for third in his league despite winning the 2014 national championship as a No. 7 seed. The Huskies missed the NCAA Tournament each of the past two seasons. They finished 14-18 overall and 7-11 in the American this season. UConn is currently ranked 173rd at KenPom -- right between Wagner and Ball State."

Six seasons and never finished better than 3rd. Yeesh. He would be roasted here as he could never win the league. Nevermind the other part....he could not win the league.....

Their out of conference didn't do tham any favors. The American is not helping either finishing between Wagner and Balls. (yeah they're still Balls despite the assertion that moniker is juvenile). Heck when you look at KenPom they are not very far down from OHIO.

Amazing what happens to a semi-storied hoops program when BCS money disappears. Welcome to mid-major life UCONN.
