had 4 guards in rotation (DJ, Offutt, Kellogg, Taylor). 3 bigs (Keely, Baltic, J smith). 2 athletic wings (Ricardo, Hall).

I started thinking what we have next season. Jason and Doug inside. 3 guards in rotation. and Block. I'm not going to compare anyone. but...I'm optimistic squad finds a G, a big and a wing to contribute from Fr/So/possible signee.

I don't think that's unlikely, at all. I can't wait to see a 9 man rotation again.

our beloved 2012 squad rolled into MAC tourney as the #3 team in East, a fact I had conveniently forgotten.

Obc2 not sure a 9 man rotation is any guarantee of success. The thing that has jumped out at me during this yearks Dance is just how shallow, not deep, the majority of the premium program’s bench are. 3 of the last standing, Loyola, Nova and Michigan appear to essentially see only 7 players getting prime-time minutes.

that's a good observation.

I know Nevada only played 5 or 6 vs UC and came back from 22 down with 10:00 to go.

was shocking to watch live.

That was one of the worst UC implosions of all time-and there are plenty to choose from. Part of the reason I am struggling to be excited about Loyola-Chicago's success. Of course UC would have been a prime candidate to lose by 1 point via a crazy, 7 bounce, off balanced shot, a dagger 3 pointer etc. to the Ramblers had they gotten past Nevada.
