My favorite all time favorite player that was not in the radar. Wore his jersey proudly last night for him and his family. He commented that he appreciated it tremendously. I wrote him a few times before the game. I told him a couple years ago that I’m pulling for him. Always, I mean always was the first player back on offense or defense up the court. Many, many people come and go but by far my favorite. I always wish him good luck where ever he goes!

I wonder if he has any interest in coaching. Would be great to see him back as an assistant coach, and maybe someday as head coach.

LOVED Ricardo Johnson; was super upset about his appeal for a red-shirted senior season not being granted. Was at the game his senior night where he got to start despite injuries, such a moving moment.

Wishing for more time with Laster as well. Such a steady, calm leader.

Laster fittingly went out strong tonight, playing very hard and putting up points until the final buzzer sounded.

Saul's first recruit at Ohio...

Yes, Mike played his hardest. If we had had three more like him on the court we would have won.

Mike is a tough player and did not quit tonight. Hate to see his season end this way. Wishing him well in whatever he choose to do.

Hats off to Laster, I like his style of play and it seems we may not see his type again for a little while at OHIO. Inside/out, plays downhill, attacks the rim, aggressive, athletic--we will miss this. Last guy we had that successfully played in such a manner was Walt. Treg did so to some degree his final season and Culver was an unpolished attempt at this style of recruit. And what made Laster even more enjoyable was that it came out of the blue. I've said it before, after his Soph season I thought he was primed to transfer or spend his career on the pine. Huge shot in the arm and he will be missed.

Man...Ohio is really gonna miss some of that slashing next year. That long stride was so sweet cutting through the lane.

Mike was a loyal Bobcat through thick and thin. He had successes and he had some low points that sandwiched those successes. If he doesn't have shoulder issues this year he is a First Team All-MAC performer and as it stands, he was our MVP. If Saul can't land a grad transfer who is 6-4ish and does what Mike did, we will be right back at sub-500 without him!
