So this guys has been suspended once before in college and once in high school and Iona is his third college already. I don't think I trust his story that he acted in self defense.

Not sure I would either, but I'd be asking a lot of questions about the coach as well if I were Iona. It takes two for that type of altercation. There seems to be more there than just the coach riding a player hard in practice.

Yikes! Iona is a program that I've always seen in the mold of a Davidson or Belmont. Stable coaching, always at the top of their conference and a strong culture of winning. This definitely seems antithetical to (at least what I've perceived) their program culture to be.
