I played in Ping a few times with Basra. Yea, chiseled is a good way to describe him.

Basra Fakhir was perhaps the most chiseled basketball player I've ever seen, but he only averaged 6 ppg at Ohio.

Translation: We are overanalyzing a photo of shirtless players.
True....but Carter and BVP and Talylor and Springs will be doing the bangin for us and they need to hold their own....BVP and Springs surprised me the most...BVP has the muscle and the height and I thought Springs would look a tad thinner.

Saw Springs at the volleyball scrimmage on Saturday. Granted I only saw him sitting as best he could in Convo seating, but he was a tad thicker and more muscular than I expected fr a kid his height.

Just watched a dozen members of the team walk by Peden, happy to report not a single crutch, boot, brace, sling, wheelie device or bandaid visible.

Go Bobcats.

Dartis was in a photo posted a few weeks ago for Summer Conditioning with his shirt off like everyone else in the photo so I would assume he was participating.

He sat right behind me at the game on Saturday, along with James, Springs, TK, and Murrell. He looked fine.

Say, listen 100%, anyone who has attended OHIO has in their genes the Radio and TV chromosome, regardless of major. These guys sat behind you and you interviewed them for us right? Is your report so long you haven't had time to post the question and answers of the fans supporting their football Bobcats?

They weren't there too long. I had a fun conversation with one of their buddies about how bow-legged Caylin Newton was, but that was about it.

Working hard. The increased depth allows practices to work better. I was impressed with what I saw yesterday.

It's exciting to have so many new guys we have NO clue about. It's also scary as heck. Take a guy like Cowart. He looks great on film, has the stats to back it up and looks the part. But so did Culver. Take VanderPlas. He was spoken highly of by coaches prior to last year's injury. Guys like James, Springs and Preston look like projects but who knows? Murrell is experienced and McMurray was a stud in high school but in the Northeast Ohio area. I am cautiously optimistic.

This is how I’ve been for a couple of years because we keep changing our roster drastically, which has to do with all the transfers.

Preston is not viewed as a project. Hes been the biggest positive surprise.

And if I'm the keg's half empty kinda guy, what would be the biggest negative surprise? Not looking for a name (not fair to the player), just general take.
