As I look over the Saul years I continue to see too many players leaving year after year, and these departures are not only due to graduation.
This coming year is no exception. It looks like at least 5-6 out and 4-6 new. That's just too much change to have some uniformity and consistency to grow a winning program.
I then look ahead and I see the same issue in 2 years with at least 5 leaving. The concern for me, in 2 years, centers around Saul and his contract being up and it looks like he may not get an extension. If no extension then there is a good likelihood that in addition to the 5 there could be others that were recruited to the next years program, that number then balloon and the program would again be thrown into a downward spiral.

We shouldn’t be scared into extendinding Saul, if we had to get a new coach, I am sure he or she would want extra schollies to bring in their own talent. You can’t be afraid to go after good players, hunter got Trent, glen or land Sanjay, Saul has to get it done or he has to go. Kent and Akron will not suck forever.
