I'm for the most part fine with this schedule except for it beginning with a whimper. As has been said, Dad's weekend being an exhibition is a waste and the home opener being on a weekday vs an NAIA school is weak. Campbell and Austin Peay have a pulse and Radford, Iona, and Marshall were tourney teams last year. FIU is mediocre, but a CUSA school is better than Coppin State or Maryland Eastern-Shore.
Getting the MEAC and SWAC teams off the schedule is a huge step in the right direction.

I too am troubled by the fact that Georgetown is not mentioned as an option in the Jamaica Classic. Especially when coach and others have said that they were most likely going to be on the schedule.

It also says FIU is called Bobcats. No, they are not.

"Ohio wraps up its 2018 non-conference schedule with a home game against Florida International (Dec. 30), marking the second all-time meeting between the Bobcats and first since 2004."

I was hoping for a home opponent that is regional, but as shab mentioned, CUSA is way better than SWAC and the like.

Pretty happy with the schedule. Yeah the first 3 games totally suck but overall there is a good blend of opponents.

First two games are what they are but Campbell isn't a terrible opponent. They have the top returning scorer in the country in Chris Clemons. Should be entertaining at least.

And they just hung their CBI Semi-finals banner ;)

Georgetown just released its schedule and the release says they will play USF in the second game in Jamaica. So no Georgetown for us.
