While Jason Carter didn't earn all-MAC pre-season recognition for obvious reasons, I don't think anyone on here would be surprised if he makes the All-MAC team at the end of this year. I've even told hoops fans up here in Licking County where Carter is from that he will be the league's POY before he's done down in Athens.

What other conference players not named to the pre-season All-MAC East or West teams will be considered at the end of the year? I'll go with Delonte Brown (Miami) in the East and Kevin McKay (CMU) in the West.

Let's not forget he WAS preseason All-MAC last year, so the answer is probably yes. And I would think BVP is still eligible for the All-Freshmen team even though he's a redshirt.
