I'm bringing the youth basketball team that I coach to Saturday's game and it looks like I'm going to need a few more tickets than I have. This team plays in the same youth league (NBBL) that Jordan Dartis got his start in several years ago in Newark. I have 6 tickets and it's looking like I'm going to need a few more to meet demand. Any help would be greatly appreciated - and who knows, the next Dartis might be using one of your tickets.

If it helps, we'll be having a pre-game lunch at BW3, arriving around 12:30.

bobcatsquared,
Let me know how many tix you are short and I will help you out. Never to early to find the next Bobcats! Newark has a long history of good basketball, with good coaching!
Let me know how many you need and PM me so we can set up to get them to you.

Depending on the age of the kids, free tickets could be an NCAA violation.

Thanks to Recovering Journalist, Ted and doubledribble for the offers. We should be good to go this Saturday.

And don't worry, Alan, I don't think anyone on my team is a future DI recruit. Although I sometimes envision my son having a growth spurt to 6-8, breaking all of Jordan Dartis' scoring records at Newark H.S. and earning a full ride to Ohio.

I'm well aware of the NCAA Violations component. I was talking group sales not reaching out to sell to them, especially when it's a former player's program that is relatively close to our backyard. That was a pipeline that never got developed at all and clearly based on attendance numbers that fell to the wayside.

Sorry had to vent when I found out the Assistant AD of Sales is leaving OU.....

Knowing the budget crunch we're staring down at, at most will be 40-45K
