Lamer than a twice-shot dog.

I won't lie, he had me worried earlier. We defended him well in half 2 and he became a bit of a chucker once they fell behind.

He put up 26 points on 22 shots, had 8 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals and was the focus of our defense all night. I came away impressed how little he forced it until late in the game.

I am with you OUVan. He let the game come to him until very late in the game, and was doing his best to allow his shots to come via their team offense. He is a very good player, and will be one of the top scorers in the country again this year.
Our guards did a good job of staying in front of him and made him work for his shots.

This.

I also think it was important to keep him off the free throw line much. He had been to the line quite a bit coming into last night. Up until the end of the game when there was a silly foul on him shooting a three, he wasn't at the line much. TK and Cowart made him really work for his points.

I totally agree. Our guys did a great job staying in his face all night long. There were very, very few instances where he was given the opportunity for an easy basket. Kuddos to TK and Cowart for their efforts. I've been impressed with the play of our young Cats so far. Hopefully their progress continues.
