I assume they're traveling together. A couple of wins makes for a more cozy ride in the snow back home.

P.S. I assume the doubleheader was a fluke rather than planned. You would think conferences would do this regularly as it could be a huge savings in travel as well as building readiness.

Double headers used to be the norm way back when.

I believe all MAC games were men/women doubleheaders when I was at Ohio (early 1980s), although I could be mistaken. I always wondered about the dynamics of the bus ride home when one team won and the other lost.

I remember that too, oldkatz. I think the women were opposed to it at that time which may be why it was discontinued . But I don't think the doubleheaders usually had teams from the same school.
