I would love to see Doug absolutely punish Wiggins in the post. Wiggins is talented but I always thought a little cocky. Time for Doug to dominate.

The next two games have the Bobcats up against teams that have big wins opening weekend. BG handles Kent at Kent, and Ball St. ran over Toledo at Toledo. It doesn't get easier as league play is here.

Considering Wiggins is averaging 15 and 12 vs 8 and 9, your wish might be a bit of a stretch. It all depends on if they let them play or not like they did in the first half on Saturday in the Convo. Second half, not so much.

Need this one to offset the NIU dump job and wipe the slate clean-ish.

Personally, winning this one wipes the slate clean. BG is always tough for us to win at, and they're appearing that they're better than in years past. Plus, 1-1 in the league at this point in the season isn't a bad thing at all.

Ohio University should never lose to Bowling Green in anything.

We are 28-40 all time against BGSU in football. 65-72 in basketball since 1950, so I guess you base this on a different criteria than actual facts.

1-1 would be a major accomplishment after what we saw Saturday.

Ohio is not good on the road ... so any road win would be a huge step in the right direction.

Doesn't erase the blow they suffered vs NIU ... but certainly softens it.

A loss here and things could really start to spiral with road trips to Ball and Toledo in two of their next three.

Well, BG does beat Ohio in the number of man-made hills, flat space, wind turbines, and concerts by Bob Dylan. Not sure if those are considered victories though:)

I was at that Dylan concert. Weirdly-lighted venue to see him because of that giant window wall letting light in.

You didn't mention campus ugliness, coed beauty, and nearness to Toledo.

[If you haven't heard the old story about the Ohio-Michigan war over where the border line should be drawn, here it is in nutshell: Ohio and Michigan sent troops to the border. Michigan withdrew its troops without firing a shot, and declared victory. Why did Michigan say they won: 'cause Ohio had to keep Toledo!]

Win or lose, I just hope ESPN does not employ the same female announcer from last year. Listening to her color commentary on BG home games last season was painful.

That first half could've gotten away from us, but solid shooting behind the arc is our saving grace. We're passing up too many good looks though. BG is knocking down contested mid range stuff. Hats off to them if they end up winning that way.

I'm speaking more from an institution standpoint. Ohio University should be better than Bowling Green State University in every metric that matters, sports results included.

Yup. We're entering wheels-falling-off territory pretty early.
