Down 12 in the 2nd half, and on the road against a team that’s beaten them 6 of the last 7 meetings, the Cats storm back in a foul plagued game to defeat Buffalo (8-3) 74-71 in overtime to stay undefeated at 12-0.

Powerhouse defending MAC champ Central Michigan (9-3), with wins at Virginia, Vandy, and Miami, visit the Convo Wednesday at 7.

Go OHIO

I'll be there Wednesday plus at least one. I know the students won't be back but I'm hoping we can get the community to the Convo for this one. I think we'll get some votes for beating the Bulls, but if we can take down the Chips as well we will definitely get noticed. Really pleased to see Dom playing so well in particular. Bob the Builder. Go Bobcats.

Another good win by the women! Go Bobcats! Any chance this coach gets offered a big time job soon? Hope Athens can keep him.

CMU's win over the Vandy ladies is meaningless. That program is a dumpster fire right now in what will almost certainly be Steph White's final season as coach. They had to dress out a soccer player with the team a while back to avoid running out of players.

[/QUOTE]Yes, Vandy is not good, but they have played a tough schedule and actually led Central Michigan in the 4th quarter before losing. Road wins are never meaningless.

According to the polls on ESPN, Ohio still has not received a single vote in either the AP or Coaches poll. Beat Central on Wednesday and that should change.

Not really, if we were a Women's basketball school you could go up to the left, click on schedule and find the schedule for the ladies.

Not until the ladies miss the NCAA tournament again and you start with the #whathaveyoudoneformelatelybob garbage.

Are there any other undefeated teams in the country who did not receive a vote? How many undefeated teams are left in the country?

There are 3 unbeaten teams remaining: Louisville, NC State and Ohio!

Hard to believe that we can't even get a vote or two. The last polls I am seeing are from 12/31. Don't know if new ones have been released yet.

You're right, current rankings still show last week. I assume whoever posted that they did not get a vote was also looking at an outdated ranking. Should be getting new rankings any minute. We have to get votes...doesn't seem possible not to if we are 1 of only 3 unbeatens with a few quality wins.

It's a start though, and puts the Bobcats in the Top 35. If we can take out the Chips (who are still getting 3 votes) on Wednesday and hold strong at Balls (weak at 5-8) on Saturday to get to 14-0 then we would have to get more votes, right? AND, Louisville plays at #1 Notre Dame on Thursday so they could drop from the unbeatens. Go 'Cats.

Congratulations to all who endured tonight's game vs. Kent. A combined 56 fouls called. Cats won tho.

It was not a fun watch. I honestly thought we went into clock killing mode too soon and took our foot off the gas a hair early. The end result was a 2 point win but we lead nearly the entire game by 11-16 points.

When are we going to crack the top 25? The MAC got two teams to the Sweet 16 last year. Any team in our league with a 16-1 record should be ranked!
