Do we want to be part of the conversation?

He might end up at Kent but he posted a picture of himself this weekend on social media from a room at the high rise Marriott Hotel overlooking a prestigious private school in the south I won't name.

Could mean something or it could mean nothing.

How did Basset work out for us? & this is not even half of the baggage.

*slight sarcasm*

But seriously, it's disappointing to not even be mentioned in some rumors. Even if it's just for the player to generate some leverage on their end.

Outside of the splash, Meechie just gives us another look of solid spare parts but not a cohesive team unit. We need compliment AJB, Pavs, and Hadaway with size, rebounding, and interior defense.

Hey, just need Meechie to will us to a MAC Tournament title and an opening round win while averaging 32ppg in the process. Easy work.

If he has even a quarter of the baggage of Basset, Boals won't touch him. Those starting the rumors probably know that.

Do we need a 6th year guard on this team? Is there anybody feeling like we're one guard away from competing?

Also, what's Meechie really good at?

So odd to read a report on him (I had to look him up) that he averaged 14+ points at South Carolina in his SENIOR season, then transferred to OSU, where he only played in 10 games. Now he's looking to transfer again. How many senior seasons do you get?

I think he's the last part of the covid year folks.

His path is so funny.

Ohio State - We're back! I'm sorry I was wrong.
South Carolina - I'm sorry, I was wrong. I'm back for real.

Side note, they desperately need to add back in one-time transfers or you sit. (I thought they did?) This shit is silly. Just keep leveraging your former team every time you get somewhere new ? LOL what in the world

What a joke! I thought they were only allowed a one-time transfer unless the coach left?

These rules are so lax it wouldn't surprise me if Holtmann being fired (at least a year after he went to SC) was his reason for leaving and returning.

I heard we are looking at University of Virginia forward Bennett Vander Plas. Kid is 6-8, has some hops and can shoot from distance. Really smart kid from Wisconsin. I think he could be a good fit. He is an 8th Year super senior looking to get his 4th Masters. I think he is our missing piece. Only averaged 8 ppg at Virginia but Tony Bennett misused him. I even have a nickname ready for him: BVP!!
