I'll echo the Nicol thought. A healthy scholarship player needs be serviceable, especially with injuries, in his second year.
+1

Really hurts now.
Read every message of mine through the first 10 games. Stomping a dead horse asking to see these guys with some playing time cause there will come a time this season when we need them and here we are… weeks ago…

If you can’t crack the rotation at his size when we severely need any size at all…

Not sure how he fits in go-forward. I guess next season they just hope to throw him out there behind Hadaway? Hope he develops as a junior or senior ? I guess it wouldn’t be that crazy, it used to happen a lot, but these days things are moving too fast to sit anyone who can play. If he can’t… then let’s get a D2 7 footer in here who can maybe develop.

Spot on.

Really don't see him contributing moving forward with what is coming in. As you and I and others have said, if he can't get meaningful minutes on a roster that has had four players at different times this season go down with injuries, then when?

Just curious if anyone still thinks The Upgrade hasn’t been The Upgrade with big man productivity off the bench from previous two years? It was obvious back in November and way more obvious now. We don’t beat Kent and Miami at home without The Upgrade.

With all due respect we split with Miami this year. Last year we swept them, home AND away. Searls had a good game today. So did Clayton who you criticize nearly every week. With the "Upgrade", as you call it, our record is worse this year than last. I fail to understand your logic.
I’ll keep this simple. We were a better team last year. Miami was a worse team last year. Searls being more serviceable and productive than Wiznitzer can’t be denied regardless of overall rosters. Gabe scored double figures 2 times in 2 years while he was in Athens. Vic has scored double figures 6 times this year.
I'll keep this simple. We were picked to win the MAC this year unanimously, correct? And you feel a team (us) barely above .500 has reinforced that? Guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Further, you like Leon totally miss the point. We beat Miami. Rather than just celebrating the W he goes off with his bizarre obsessive fixation with a former player. He is also the one wanting Elmore James' minutes cut. He's the one constantly criticizing Clayton. Last, he's also the one who likely never played basketball beyond 5th grade. Read his in-game rants if you want to get a good laugh. I personally love to read all the knee jerk posts each game.
