Ball State is probably the 2nd best team in the MAC and top 100 in net rankings. Saul has Ohio ranked below Abilene Christian and Texas Southern in the NCAA Net Rankings. Let that sink in for how this game will go.

My inaugural Worthen trip will have to wait for another year. I was originally planning to be at this one, and now won't even get to watch it on TV. Safe travels to everyone getting to and from tomorrow.

We were gonna go to this game originally, but I'm not making an eight-month pregnant lady sit through watching this team right now, especially with the snow being forecast.

Also, I don't want my son's first experience of Bobcat basketball — even in utero — to be this version of Ohio basketball.

I do need to get him to an Ohio game before my wife gets him to an IU game. This is my personal battle I'm going to be waging. To keep him from the deathstar that is Big Ten fandom.

With the recent history of the Bobcats being blown out big at times, this is, actually, not a bad point spread, if, in fact, you are taking Ball State to win. Let us hope the 'Cats prove Vegas wrong.

At first I thought this might get moved to Sunday but they're calling for 5-7 inches over about a 36-hour period, so it sounds like it'll be manageable.

Not expecting a lot of good things out of this game. Hope I'm wrong.

Outstanding first half. Could have scored 50 with a little more concentration at the rim. Ball State is getting no clean looks and effort plays aplenty from Kirk, Taylor, Block, Gollon, and Cowart.

Hope you are right. Fantastic road win and good to see Block play one of his better games of the season. The Kirk line is amazing: 19 points...9 rebounds....6 turnovers....0 assists.

Preston: 8 assists is great to see.

Quite a win. Only time things looked like it might get away was when Ball cut it to 14 with the ball ... but Ohio had answers all day.

Makes up for NIU loss at home. Need to get Kent in Convo Tuesday to get back in the pack.

Only 2nd game this season Ohio hasn't allowed a double-digit run.
