Sorry, but someone had to ask this question. With all the "weeping and gnashing of teeth" going on now here in the basketball forum, a look ahead to spring training might do some of us some good. Who knows, there might be a basketball player or two recruited by Frank who could be a two-sports guy . . .

Just to put my comment in perspective, for those who haven't been on the board that long, back in the day when our football program was horrible, after the football team was like 1-6 to start the season, someone would always ask, "Is it basketball season yet."

Seconded. No matter how ugly this basketball season has become, I still prefer college hoops over college football. I can do without the extracurricular's in a few threads, but those aren't unique to basketball on BA.

I wish it was football season already, but I will enjoy the softball and baseball seasons.
