If we loose this game we will have lost 6 in a row.
Has any Bobcat team lost 6 in a row?

I remember checking in on the score and rubbing my eyes to make sure I saw it correctly. Never expected to win but it was a bludgeoning and wasn't even at the half.

Oh my, yes.

12 straight twice

10 straight once

9 straight once

Plus, Larry Hunter lost six straight, and five straight twice, during the epic Wilderness Campaign of 1997-98.

Sadly, this team appears to have a legitimate shot at setting a new record.

This may seem strange, but for some reason I think Ohio will come out strong. They'll look like they want to prove something and silence the critics! That being said, I think they keep it close in the first, down 5-6 at half.... then it derails and UB wins by 22. 74-52.

Also- completely unrelated to the UB game, but I'm new here and not sure if this is the right place... or if there is a "right place" for this but I'm a season ticket holder and since the BG game was moved from Saturday to Friday night, I'm unable to make the game. With the new season ticket format, I believe I can email them to anyone and they're able to use them. If anyone wants 4 tickets, let me know and I can send them to you, I believe. Again, my apologies if this isn't the place for this comment. Thanks!

Buffalo falls a sleep after five tough MAC games and we storm out to an early lead and lose by 7 in the end and we claim a moral victory, saying if we had Dartis we would have won the MAC.

Watch us screw the league and beat Buffalo.

I think TK takes 30 shots tonight. Has to work on his "moneyshot."

So for all those “if we had Gollon and Dartis it would be a whole different story” apologists, what would you guess the spread would be if they were playing tomorrow night?
Considering Jordan's career average against Buffalo is 12ppg, it might move a little, but not enough to make up 19.5.

I thought we had a chance in that Kansas game. Seriously. I've never felt so stupid about two minutes into a game.

It was like we were taking on the MonStars and we were Wayne Knight.

The only other time I felt an OU team that overmatched and psychologically broken was when I was at the Louisville football game and five minutes in it was clear Frank Solich's only goal was not to have anyone get hurt. So it was sitting around for three hours in a blazing heat getting a sunburn for no real reason as Teddy Bridgewater poured himself a glass of water and made a sandwich before flicking the ball for a 30 yard gain on every play.

Not that the Cats take on too many super strong Power 5 teams, but that was one of the most pathetic showings I can remember under Solich. The early part of the UVA game this year was hard to swallow, too. It was on a Sunday during Labor Day weekend so it was the only game on nationally and the Cats were smacked pretty hard. Remember walking around the grocery store wearing an Ohio shirt during the game and a Louisville fan/former player kindly saying he thought it would have been more competitive than it was.

The Kansas game at the Sprint Center or the one in Vegas?

Crap. I forgot there were two of them. I think the 2010 one I was thinking of.

Even Bill Murray (Dan Ackroyd according to the one monster) couldn't help us tonight......

If you had any doubt how bad our athleticism is and how bad the recruiting is....just rewind the first half of this game. And don't tell me Jimmy G and Dartis would make a difference against the Buffalo's of the world or even average MAC teams.

This is like watching a 3rd grade basketball team play a HS team. I've never seen a basketball team turn the ball over more by simply throwing the ball out bounds thinking their teammate was there. And Kirk still can't make a free throw. How can a Division One basketball team be this poorly coached in fundamentals? I mean..is Saul even trying anymore? Schaus really should just pull the plug now.

I don't want to hear anymore about how Saul was dealt a bad break with injuries. Jimmy G and Dartis can't fix this. The talent is not there and Saul recruits the players. The embarrassment of this program continues to reach an all-time low.

The game is not on here, but I have a question after seeing the box score.

Did ONE guard from Buffalo outscore our entire starting five?

So, Saul apologists. What ya got to say about it now? Remember all that "VanderPlas is a beast" and "Preston is a beast" etc.etc. ? Are Saul's scrubs all still "beasts" and if so, why is the score 52-27 at the half? I mean, Buffalo did lose some MAC games. They are not invincible. Shouldn't the game at least be a little closer?

Sadly I was at both the Kansas and Louisville games. You guys are spot on. 2 of the most decisive beatings of my Bobcat life.

As far as tonight....2nd straight game I decided not to watch. Cancelled my ESPN+ subscription. Best move I have made in 2019.

Might be the low point. That was one of the most atrocious halves of basketball I've seen an Ohio team play in 20+ years. Horrific FT shooting (again) inability to guard anything on the perimeter (and not much desire to try) ... what is the offensive gameplan? They look lost on that end (AGAIN)

Humiliating performance.

Never thought I'd ever see an Ohio team afraid to take the court against Buffalo...but we saw it tonight. Zero desire...zero effort to compete. Well done Saul.

I definitely see effort (aside from Cowart not boxing out a free throw shooter). Skill, on the other hand....

Good to see that Jim Kelly was well enough to attend.

Surprised Buffalo still has first-stringers on the floor with a 40-pt lead.
