Any rhyme or reason for a game being on ESPN3 v. ESPN+?

I got rid of Spectrum cable last summer (although I still have it for internet) and because of that I can no longer access ESPN3. I'm paying for ESPN+ during the college football and basketball seasons.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to access ESPN3 w/o Spectrum TV? It'd be nice if you're paying a monthly fee for ESPN+ it would also include ESPN3 programming.

To watch ESPN3 you have to have some form of TV package that includes regular ESPN.

Doesn't have to be Spectrum cable - any dish like DirecTV, or any streaming provider (I use Hulu) gives you access as well.

Do you have a live TV streaming package that lets you watch ESPN live via the Vue? (I've never done Playstation streaming). Having access to live ESPN is the key.

Once you have that, you just use your streaming subscription username/password to sign in to be able to watch ESPN3 from espn.com/watch.

A chance to beat a team that's ahead of us in the standings. We're 3-0 against teams with worse MAC records than ours; 0-4 against teams ahead of us. And a chance to even things up vs NIU.

After their big win against Buffalo, they lost by two at Akron. It would be nice to steal one back from them after losing in Athens.

Appears that Mother Nature wins again - game moved up to 6pm EST because of winter weather.

Bobcatsquared I also have Playstation vue and you can watch espn3 with your PS Vue account. Just go to watchespn.com and choose Playstation Vue as your provider and use your playstation vue username/email and password.

Did the team bus it or fly to NIU? I read that 1,000 flights through Chicago have been cancelled.

The Kent-WMU game has been moved to Thursday.

I'm pretty sure they flew, there was an EMB-120 (which is what they usually fly) at the airport yesterday afternoon that went to Chicago Dupage.

My son goes to school in Chicago and classes have been cancelled through Thursday because of the frigid temperatures. Unfortunately for him they didn't cancel 5:30am swim practice.

A lot of good stuff in this game by the Bobcats, except for one thing...they couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. Ironic that shooting is the one thing killing this team, and Saul Phillips' teams are noted for their shooting, and really have to shoot well in this system. Too bad.

Sadly, when they did try to put it in the ocean, due to the polar vortex cold weather, the ocean had iced over and the ball just bounced back.

I really can't decide if our players are talented nough or not. There are glimmers where it looks like these guys can play... but then that vanishes. (And they certainly do miss Dartis.)

So many players blow hot and cold. Carter will get aggressive for a stretch and dominate, but then he'll vanish. Kirk will look like an all-star, then he'll commit a slew of turnovers and take bad shots. Block will get hot, but then he'll have that senior-year-Ivo hesitancy for a few nights.

There just aren't steady contributors. It looks like a bunch of nice guys trying hard who just can't put it all together.

Not every game seems this simple, but this is it in a nutshell. The ball movement, defense, turnovers even the free throw shooting (!) were good tonight.

Couldn't hit water if we fell out of a ****ing boat.

I just wish it were an anomaly, but the firepower just isn't there consistently enough.

well, watching nearly every game one way or another, veteran players will for the most part be stronger and obviously more experienced add teams that have played for at lest couple years together. this lineup the last couple seasons has been so unpredictable. injuries/transfers/new players/going to Adidas/the locker room temperatures before the game. the get the gist. with minimal key players, I see better athletes all over the mac that understand our simple game know our weaknesses. I have been an optimist my life and with that being said this next 8 out should be interesting. gocats
