Anyone know about the fan (female, I think) with a very shrill voice? I have heard it at Kent and during last nights Cav's game at the Q. I think I have heard it at Tribe games too.
How does a human make that noise and how can it be so loud?
What is it like to sit near her at a game?

Is it the lady who howls at every Kent game? I believe she has special needs.

The Kent State "superfan" is Heather Strittmatter. She has been attending games since 2001. She is extremely loud and annoying for the opposing fans and players and can be heard on every radio and tv broadcast. I don't know how she can keep that ear piercing scream up for an entire game but she does! She has been embraced by the Kent State University teams and coaches and they look out for her. They help her get to the games if she needs help. She is extremely dedicated to all Kent State sports and can out yell our entire Ozone without even trying. She is certainly a dedicated and passionate fan and they are lucky to have her. Much respect, Heather!

There was a woman in the row behind us at the Ohio-Akron women's game who might give that lady a run for her money. She was an Ohio fan and roared after every play with a very loud voice. I'm not complaining; I'm just giving credit where credit is due.
