I'd really love to know how these are developed, and look forward to seeing how they're used come Selection Sunday.

The SI Article is a really good one. It's gonna get REALLY interesting when any one of Wofford, Buffalo, Lipscomb, Utah State, and other mid-majors are in the top 40 teams according to the NCAA's own metric, and they don't get at-large bids (assuming they don't get the auto bid).
