It definitely sucks. The MAC had two Sweet 16 teams last year and probably was a better league this year. Ohio finished higher in the regular season than Buffalo (by 2 games) and had went further in the tournament than Central Michigan (and was just a game back in the MAC regular season). The Bobcats deserved it but I almost knew they wouldn't get in over a team like Tennessee.

I guess the positive is Ohio should get to host WNIT games. I hope they win it. They're certainly capable.

There are no seeds for WNIT. They build the bracket out based on regional match ups to reduce travel.
