He's one of those guys who in the years to come we'll come to appreciate more. He'll be sorely missed next year.

Thanks for posting this. Doug Taylor grew on me during his years here. He ended up being one of my favorite Bobcats of all-time. There's just something about his style I liked. Part of it is that he was never the showoff. He would swat a shot into the bleachers, the guy who put up the shot falls down (no foul), and Doug doesn't give him some macho look, he just leans over helps the poor fellow up. He was an very good sportsman as well as an excellent player who got better each year he was here. I really liked that!

I always enjoyed watching Doug play. Given how good he was around the basket sometimes, I wondered why he didn't score more. Seemed like he always came on the last 10 games of the year.
