30 wins, school record for MBB or WBB. Simply outstanding. This team belonged in the Big Dance, let's continue to prove it.

Time to take the show on the road. If we survive Northwestern is there any chance we host the semifinal amd/or final?

The winner of tonight's game will play @ Northwestern on Saturday evening, 6 pm CT tipoff.
Why is it not being played at The Convo?
They're 19-14 and we're 30-5.

The schools have to bid to host. We have bid on and hosted all 3 games. I believe Northwestern hosted their first game and were on the road for the next two.

First of all, congrats to the Lady Bobcats tonight. that was another fun game to watch.so proud. I thought the atmosphere was the best all year. the turnout was great and the vibe was cool. It is disappointing that if we want to travel next game, it would be in Chicago. I am not sure how the WNIT works but I think with the last three home games there were over 5,000 ticket sold. the ladies have the best RPI left. Its a bummer NW. gets a home game. the girls already missed the NCAA. I would be interested to see if NW. sell 2500 seats next week

I know I shouldn't look past the Wildcats, but if we win in Evanston do we play the winner of TCU-Cincinnati? If the Bearcats come out on top that could be an awesome Ohio match-up.

It would be against James Madison or Georgetown.

I'm disappointed the athletic department couldn't come up with a bus or two to transport interested fans to the game in Evanston on Saturday. While the 7+ hr. trip one way is a bit too much to expect for many of us to do I feel confident a good number of fans would have agreed to let someone else do the driving. I'm thinking for a fee of $50 or $60 per person would have more than reasonable to cover the cost of a bus (if not through a charter company possibly use on or more the university's busses). Getting back home in the wee hours of Sunday morning would have been much more manageable knowing I could have slept a bit on the drive home. I know it was a quick turn around but if indeed this athletic department is sincere about getting fans more involved they are going to have to step up their game as well.
The crowd inside the Convo tonight was electric...by far the best crowd I've seen at a women's game in many, many years. Hopefully our ladies can continue to win and we'll get another chance to host one or more games back in the Convo.

+1

I just hope we have the $$$ to put the team on a charter flight from UNI (Albany International ) to Chicago Exec. airport PWK. Tomorrow afternoon flight will take an hour 20 or so, depends on winds. Bus ride would be 9+ hours.

Hope JS steps up here and makes the flight happen.

After watching tonight's game, In person. I think these girls can make this happen. I sure hope so - every game OU wins is a POKE in the eye of the NCAA Women's selection committee.
AND they need that "poke". The MAC has been snubbed too long.

Boldon and company were very appreciative of all the fans that came out tonight... Truly a fun atmosphere. Thanks for showing tonight, Bobcat Nation. Let's keep this up!

I see the complete schedule for the quarterfinals has been set. Every team, with the exception of Ohio, gets a 2 day rest between games. Ohio is the only team of the Elite 8 being forced to play AND travel with only one day of rest between games.
I have faith that these ladies, regardless of the obstacles that continually are placed in front of them, will rise to the occasion and move on to the final four. Can't get enough of the grit and determination of these ladies right now. You're not done...get number 31!!!

Just got a text from a friend that he is on a flight with the team. So looks like they sprung for flying commercial out of Columbus.

we went towards Nelsonville and noticed the Bus was returning from Columbus. again I don't know how the WNIT passing $ . I would assume Travel, housing etc. would be compensated. I am a rookie thinking about The WNIT. plans
