I am.

I'm debating doing a 2 day, 1 night trip in Dec. I don't like the up and back from Cincy same day anymore.

coach boals sure could use our support early in year one, so im in. I did the same with Saul, albeit with kids in tow. they will each be at different colleges this fall, maybe I can do it during break. they loved Athens.

I will be renewing my ticket. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision.

Getting my butt back in a season ticket seat. Not sure I'll make the weeknight games from Cinci but weekends are back on the schedule!

I'd say I never left, which is true - sort of. I didn't do any weeknight games this past season for the first time in several years. I'll probably catch a couple more weeknight games compared to last year.

Living in Licking County and a fan of local high school hoops, I was looking forward to one more year of Dartis and Carter playing together for my Bobcats. Now I'm hoping for a healthy and successful final year for Dartis, who I've been watching since he was in middle school. Additionally, I'm guardedly optimistic for what Boals is going to do with our program.

Kudos to you good sir/maam!

Hoping to make it to more games once my kiddos get a bit older. Just too young for it to be enjoyable for me or them right now.

I'll renew my season tickets at the same level as last year. I do hope to get to more games as well.

Yea, same here. Don't understand those "fans" who have to make a "decision" on whether or not they're coming back. If each season you evaluate the caliber of the coach and team before you decide, maybe you should put your attention elsewhere? Convo still offers D1 Bobcat Basketball, that's good enough for me.
Granted we're local, but winter without the Convo for my family would be unthinkable, regardless of the coach, AD, players, or success of the teams. It's painful to see so many on BA who blow with the wind, so negative one day or season and threatening to not return, and so seemingly full of support when the wind changes direction, until the struggles come and then it's "who is going back?" once again. Because the struggles will come folks, I'm as glass-half-full as anyone but I also know that MACC and NCAA appearances don't come easily and we're not likely to suddenly become a dominant program again with a few solid recruits. I hope people are patient, and return to the Convo every year without making that decision after "evaluating" the program.

Though I would have stated it somewhat differently, with a little more emphasis on the concept of loyalty (what an old fashioned concept, I know), I tend to agree with the sentiments express here by GroverBall.

With all due respect to the locals, there are those that buy season tickets and then have to decide if the 3 - 6 hour round-trip drives in winter, many on work nights, are worth it considering the product on the floor. Both teams considered, especially when the MAC has been mediocre lately (with the exception of last year). How good Ohio is, and to a lesser extent its opponent, is many times a deciding factor in whether or not to make that drive. At least that's the opinion of one out-of-town fan.

Back off, BSquared. I'm sure the drive from The Plains can be treacherous in certain conditions. Certainly more difficult than my 6-hour round trip from northern Summit County.

I'll be in Oxford for sure. Can't put my finger on why, but I really want to see a game at BG. Never been to football or basketball up there.

Haven't missed more than a few since I got here in '71 and plan to keep our four seats. Wanna keep doing what I do, of course.

Will make sure to rock it in Toledo and BG. Potentially EMU since that's 45 up the road.

Absolutely! Been a ticket holder since graduation. I make the drive from Columbus and meet my parents for every game. We usually make the trip to Oxford and Kent every year. Thinking about a few more this year. Anyone going to the MB tourney?

To think quality of product on the floor, quality of experience during the game day and cost of the tickets is not a factor, then I do not know that there would ever be a factor that would prevent us from building the largest arena in America so all of our alumni will practice loyalty and attend every game.

They've got a nice building in my opinion. The only thing that's so-so is the scoreboard. Concessions, bathrooms are very good. And the outside is very well lit - i.e. it's pretty obvious when something is going on there. (hint, hint OU)

You're once again twisting words of select posters to communicate a made up tone. These people are sharing their own personal approach to fandom, no one said these things you mention are not factors in attendance. They just are not factors in their own attendance. I tend to be that way as well on a personal level. Reason #1 why I attend is because I a proud Ohio Bobcat who enjoys the game of basketball. Reason #2, whatever it is, is light years down the list.
