Started this topic a few years ago but I can't find that thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only current NBA players who have played in the Convo are Richaun Holmes, Abdel Nader, Kyle O'Quinn and Chris Clemons.

I thought Steph Curry came as a freshman with Davidson.

We played Steph on a neutral floor. He never played in the Convo.

He played only one season at Marshall and that game was in Charleston, WV.

You could say we just missed out on a Mitchell Robinson sighting.

Who remembers Mike James from Lamar? He had that crazy alley oop dunk over Ricardo in 2011 in the Convo. Now getting first half minutes with the Nets.

I was there for that game/dunk. That was one of those "oh sh*t" moments when I saw the PG throw down like that.

Wasn't Chris Clemons from Campbell in the Convo recently?

December 2019. He was arguably one of the most prolific college basketball players ever.

I can’t remember the dunk itself, but I remember it was one of the craziest dunks I had ever seen. I wish there was footage of it somewhere!

BTW, for a game that had no hype going in, this was a really entertaining game. Lamar had a bunch of really athletic dunks, Pat Knight coaching, Brazilians in the O Zone, overtime. That was a fun one.

Ben Sheppard. Indiana Pacers. Went to Belmont. Roderick couldn't guard him.

Probably add Akron's Freeman to the list. He's on the Pacers' opening day roster. Alongside the aformentioned Ben Sherman.

Confirmed, he scored his first points last night in 7 minutes of play.

Jeenathan Williams, U Buffalo, saw a good amount of time in Houston Rockets' last few games of regular season. Not sure if he's on their playoff roster.

Ryan Rollins, UT, started in Milwaukee's opening game in first-round series v. Indiana Pacers. He started ahead of Gary Trent, Jr., but played fewer minutes.

For Indiana, Enrique Freeman, UA, played 22 games this year and RJay Dennis, UT, played 11. Doesn't look like either one is on the playoff roster.

Not in the league anymore, but Oakland big man Keith Benson came to the convo as a hyped(ish) NBA prospect in 2010-11.

Only played 3 games in NBA as second round pick.

Didn’t Mitchell Robinson come in here? Or was he hurt when WKU came here?

I think he was at WKU for about 10 days in the summer and decided college was too much of a hassle at which point he had to sit out that season before entering the NBA draft.

If he was in The Convo, it was not as part of a WKU team.
