This is, indeed, horrible. I would not be surprised that when those toxicology reports come back we are dealing with DUI of some sort. Truly tragic. I will pray for the dead and the survivors!

I can't understand why there are so many accidents caused by people driving the wrong way on a four lane highway.
I had a close call on SR 15 east of Findlay, Ohio, one time while returning from a basketball game at Toledo. Fortunately I noticed that an oncoming car was on my side of the highway and I pulled over to the shoulder. Car passed me oblivious to being on the wrong side. I called 911.

Jeff, as I recall UC QB Greg Cook's father was killed years ago driving up an exit ramp on an Interstate Highway. That kind of disorientation, like the situation you described, I suspect is nearly always related to substance abuse and intoxication. I suppose that occasionally it might be lack of sleep, mental illness or dementia.
