This is semi-off topic but oh well....

I threw together a quick MAC schedule for week 1 of the regular season over on the MAC board. I also noted any games showing as being on TV or Webcasts that I could find right now.  For this version, I added all of the games for Ohio's upcoming non-conference oppnents (noted with *).  I didn't list Ohio's non-D1 opponents or the unknowns from Myrtle Beach though.

I thought some here might like to discuss these, and any other basketball games that don't directly include Ohio.  If anyones interested I can post it again next week.  Yes... Im excited basketball is almost back.

Love the off topic in this case!

I'll be at the UC @ OSU game Wednesday night on FS1. I always enjoy these early season games at interesting venues.

That Toledo at Valpo game should be interesting Wed night.

Toledo blew a 14-point first half lead and lost. Valpo hit a shot with 4 seconds left for the win.

Is Buffalo coming back down to Earth? Losing at home to Dartmouth is not a good look.

From what I saw on Twitter, their fans are pretty full of themselves. Pretty big meltdown over that loss.

They lost their coaches and 75% of their on court production. I don't know how they couldn't see a big step back coming.

They still have an above average back court in Jordan and Graves. If they get consistent front court play they’ll be contenders, but after the year they had last season that could be considered a step back. I was surprised they lost to Dartmouth.

When it comes to us, I did notice on one of the Bulls message boards (ubfan.com) that some have taken notice of the positive direction we seem to be heading and were very respectful. The comments are under the thread entitled "Around the MAC" or something similar.

Conversely, in reference to us, the St. Bonaventure fan site had a real superiority complex going before, during, and after our game with them. As a result, I enjoyed our throttling them even more than I thought I would. ; )

I love how much the four teams in western New York dislike each other, especially Bona and UB.
