Does anybody know if there will be a return visit to TnTech?

There are a butt-ton of mid-major D-1 schools near it, thus an economical road swing would be easy to squeeze in games with Belmont, Lipscomb, TSU, Peay, etc or whatever combination plus maybe a game at historic Memorial Gym vs the new look Jerry Stackhouse Vandy bunch.
I agree
Cookeville is kind of no-mans land .... but you are right about a lot of opportunity for decent games nearby.

WKU and MTSU are a pair that are just as close to Cookeville as Nashville. You could even throw in Tennessee .... Knoxville is just due east of there. UT Chattanooga is due south. Hell if you going to go to Peay in Clarksville ... might as well keep driving about an hour and go to Murray State. Better game, IMHO.
I've driven from Clarksville to Murray... at least Cookeville is on a major interstate. Murray is really out there in the middle of nowhere... but they pack that gym for a good game. Not much else to do.

Our roster is updated with new heights/weights and Sylvester added (Dartis still not there). I looked at someone's page and in the game log, it only shows the upcoming year, with the only games reflected the Myrtle Beach tournament and a game against Capital.

Should we at all be concerned that Dartis isn't officially listed on the team roster and it's now approaching August 1st? Somebody give us some good news here.

We've got to figure out a better weekend for Dads Weekend than these exhibition games. Lost opportunity.

Tremendous lost opportunity - probably to the tune of an extra 1000 sold tickets at face value. Not to mention the loss of concession revenue, and the potential to impress dad's and their kids to come back for more games.

It's not an issue for me personally, and it's better than a weeknight, but I find it odd to already have two Sunday games in December. Maybe the two opponents have Friday night games elsewhere?

No faith that we'll play Utah on 11/22?

Or do you have no faith in Coastal Carolina?

Could not agree more. Even though I'm not glued to Sunday NFL games, the PGA tour actually ends it's real season now before NFL football begins in September because it just can't compete for viewers.

You are correct on that, although according to the PGA Tour schedule, technically their yearly events start in January, so I suppose in a sense the PGA already has an 8 month season anyway.

The NFL conversation is a whole different thing entirely for me - as I would rather be watching college hoops that any NFL game these days. Ten years ago that wasn't necessarily the case. BUT, I'm still in the minority I know, which makes this all the more puzzling to me. I was thinking more in terms of people with families probably preferring Saturday's to Sundays. I'd be interested to see surveyed results (hmm, guess I'll start a poll here in a second) that say what fans preferences would be for non-conference weekend game times that the home team, for the most part, exclusively controls. (right? wrong?)
