Many of us are always comparing one year to the next especially after a coaching change. This year is no exception.
I took a look at both this years roster vs last year and discovered 1 fact; total number of players who left, for whatever reason, and therefore the number of new players coming in.
Overall 9 players left the program after last year.
7 new players were brought in this year.
These 2 facts alone do not bode well for us to have a good season.
I was pleased that Jeff was hired and do believe that he will have good success here, but this year will be difficult to end at just .500.
For me a .500 season would be a success, after last years 14-17.
I just ask that we be just a little more realistic on our expectations.

Only 3 upperclassmen on the roster at this moment. 20 wins this year would be a huge success counting the regular season and post season wins. Here I'm talking about MAC tournament win(s) and a CBI invite.

Uncle Wes.......I would be extremely pleased with a 20 win season. Boals would be receiving all the accolades, and well deserved accolades for this turn around.

.500 in MAC play is going to be extremely difficult with the state of our health. Being so shorthanded really affects everything we do and could have some very real long term ramifications.
