We are waaaaay out of this team's league. Defense and rebounding coming easy. Very happy to see Price get some run and that he has shown well. Could do without McMurray acting like Stevie Taylor whenever he hits a shot.

It took four home games, but I finally pinpointed the best part of watching our Cats in the Convo this season. No more artificial means of crowd involvement such as "Stand for D" or "Roar for 1804", or whatever they called it.

And I'm not sure who we should thank. Coach Boals? The former AD or the new AD? Jeff McKinney?

Was not able to watch or listen to tonite’s game. See in box score Dartis only played 4 minutes. Was that by design or due to heaven forbid yet another injury?

Buuuut on the surface, Boals also said it doesn't appear too serious and will likely rest him up before Sunday to avoid risk.

Watching now, Dartis looks really uncomfortable. Not liking what I am seeing with this. Hope it is a small thing.

He said something directed at an official but I couldn’t tell what it was from where I was sitting. Sounded kind of like “Call it.” Not sure if he was daring him to T him up or what.

In other news, Purdue ran #5 Virginia out of their gym tonight. 29 point beat down.

Coach Boals was defending his players. A Rio Grande player took a couple of cheap shots and Boals came unglued about it. None of the refs saw it and Coach let them know.

I suspect he's a little more sensitive about that too right now given the injury issues that we have.

Arkley reported that the ref said he did see it and Boals then told him to *magic word*ing call it. Former Dayton Flyer point guard Edwin Young may have been the giver of the T.

Thanks to https://twitter.com/JeffBoals?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw for giving our program the opportunity to play a quality DI opponent, great experience ...and great to see my former student-Asst from back in the day https://twitter.com/LamarThornton__?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw doing big things at OU ...keep being good to the game!— Ken French (@RioBasketball) https://twitter.com/RioBasketball/status/1202448639408398...
This is why this game was played, and why in the long run, it’ll be worth it. Created a lot of regional goodwill.
