Boal recruited Nick Muszynski when he was at Stony Brook but Saul didn't recruit him for Ohio?

15.5 ppg and 6.5 boards a game for Belmont. 60% shooting includes 40% from 3.

Just wondering if that was the same kid.

It's hard to find much information about his recruitment because all of the scouting services had him completely unranked. It seems his other offers maybe were from Stony Brook, UNC Asheville, Wright State, Air Force and Niagara.

I don't get the point here. Does he have some tie to Ohio? This is just a random Tennessee kid

It's not exactly surprising that Jeff Boals has a recruiting pipeline in Columbus that Saul didn't.

The point that greencat is trying to make is that Saul's recruiting was bad, something which is arguable depending on how you look at it.

My question is why we keep belaboring this point. Who cares. The coach and recruiting are now different. Time to move on and support the guys that are here now.

From what I can tell, Saul also didn't recruit Joe Burrow. Anybody know if he was any good at basketball?

No. I never said I wasn't going to bring that particular kid up.

Two or three years ago I said it would be 2 or 3 seasons before I would bring up the Saul recruiting debate again. So, yes and no... depending on whether or not 2 or 3 years = "just said it."
