That seems super dumb to me. They should at least have the conferences decide on the same ball...but I would think NCAA would just pick an official ball.

Yeah, but that shoe company wants their ball to be used! Adidas had that in the contract with the University. Personally I am glad that Frank has been able to hold off Russell and now Adidas on the use of their football. Nothing better than a Wilson football, not just that its made in Ohio, but the quality of the product as well.


However, the basketball team has balls of every brand for the players to use in practice based on the ball to be used in the next game. And there is an official ball in the MAC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament.

What’s Ohio using now days? Has it changed coach to coach or does AD have say based on apparel contracts?
