I dug through the roster by searching through the gameday links. Young Utes this year!

Coastal Carolina ran Utah off the floor last night. Very good chance for an Ohio win tonight.

We are a 5 point underdog. ESPN BPI favors Ohio. We don't have home court like Coastal Carolina did but there is certainly a realistic shot of winning here.

I certainly don't EXPECT it, but getting a P5 win would look awfully nice on the resume.

Villanova and Baylor down - Utah and Purdue remain as opportunities.

Other than yesterday, Utah has been impressive so far this season.

Even though we lost both of the other P5 games by 20+, I really like what I see from this team. We’ve stayed in both games for a while. I’m not saying they’ll keep this up the whole season but it’s definitely something that’s a positive for the future.

We have a tough non-conference. We are 3-2 with the following games:

Utah: will be ticked off after losing to Coastal (Loss)
Detroit: Have played a tough sked, great sophomore in Davis (Win)
Rio: Win
Tn Tech: Easy schedule (Win)
Purdue: Loss
Morehead: Not much to judge but traditionally ok (win)
Campbell: Should win but they did beat Coastal (loss)

That has us going 4-3 the rest of non-con to finish non-con at 7-5. I don't know about any of you but I didn't know if we'd win 7 games all year let alone in the non-con. I could then see us going, legit, 10-8, 9-9 or 8-10 (come on, we can split with Western, Eastern, Kron, Miami, Buffalo and Kent at the very least to have 6 wins. Then toss in at least two wins out of Central, Toledo, Northern or Balls). That would put us at 15-15. Does anyone think we will finish lower than that win total (I actually believe that when healthy and once they get their rhythm, this team can go 17-13 and 10-8.

Ohio can beat Utah tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bobcats get nine wins before the new year.

I see the same information on my Spectrum lineup. Just a few minutes ago, actually watching ESPN News, there has been a graphic on the left side of the screen indicating Ohio and Utah on ESPN News at 7:30. That gives me a little more comfort. I guess we’ll see soon.

Utah has a 7'4" Center, along with a 7'0" and 6'10" Center.
Tall team.

We just look a step slow in every facet. I cannot remember the last OU team to play three Power 5 teams in so few days back to back to back. I would almost rest the guys and get ready to play MTSU. Would be another nice mid major win.

You cant let a team shoot 65% of floor and expect to be in it. I like that we are getting inside tonight we just need to finish those plays. And quit giving away possessions.

Simply too many rebounds that are ours to lose we're not finishing.

We gotta start knocking down the open and big shots. Just not falling these past 3 games for some reason.

I get what you are saying but here is the reason: NOVA...BAYLOR...UTAH...one real experienced senior in Dartis. Done.

I agree 100%. But I believe there was a few shots that the youngins could have knocked down but that’ll come with time. I’m still excited for what this team will be this year.

Playing the type of quality opponents we have with a young, still recuperating team, and doing so in an aggressive manner is cause for hope, even though we have lost three in a row. Normally losing three in a row would cause many of us to grumble, but considering what some of us thought the scores could have been, this isn't half bad. On a side note, good to have former Coach Fraschilla doing the game. It's nice to hear his positive reflections of the time he spent in Athens working under Coach Nee. He even tossed in a geography and history lesson concerning our fair Alma mater.

Fran has essentially been an unpaid infomercial for OHIO and Athens these last two games. Has gotten a bit repetitive but has made no secret of his regard for his time in Athens and his respect for OU. Certainly seems to believe Boals was the right hire and that great things are in store for the future of the program.
