Well, now, you certainly can't accuse the 'Cats of playing a lightweight schedule now can you?

No, that’s reserved for Ohio’s non-conference scheduling for football.

Very strong schedule this year. The early road games plus quality of Villanova, Baylor and Purdue test this team early. 6 road/neutral court games to start vs Division I teams before we play a division I team at home. I like that they are challenging this team this year. Should help them once the play road games against the MAC.

Like us, they are a three guard lineup team. Very strong three point shooters and one solid banger in the post in Gillespie. They force a hair over 17 turnovers a game, but also turn over 14 times per game themselves. We're going to have to do better in that department, offensively and defensively, than we did against Villanova to have a chance.

They're not that dissimilar from us, but obviously more talented.

I've accepted the likelihood that we are playing Coastal Carolina on Friday. Hard to get a read on them yet. They are 1-2 but are literally four points from being 3-0, with 1-point losses to NKU and Campbell. They blew out their non-D1 game. Didn't connect it until today, but this isn't your normal November neutral sight tournament; the Myrtle Beach Invitational is played on Coastal's campus. With us likely playing the Friday nightcap, it will likely be our third game of the season at an intimate, loud mid major venue.

I've been trying to figure out how the TV is going to work for the second and third games of this tournament. Does anyone know? I'm assuming some ESPN+/ESPN3 will be involved.

https://www.espn.com/watch/schedule

Using this, It appears that at worst, the later games will be on ESPNNews, which would still be available on the WatchESPN app. The Sunday game can be one of three different time slots (assuming a loss to Baylor) as it appears that a couple Sunday games do not have a time slot locked. Sunday will either be 10:30, 1:00, or 7:00.

Assuming a loss to Baylor? What about assuming a win? ;-)

Their 3-pt shooting numbers are pretty impressive but upon closer examination they may not be that impressive. They shot 18-33 from deep against Central Arkansas (who is allowing 45% on the season to their opponents) but are shooting just 31.8% from 3 in their other games. Hard to say what we'll get. But if I'm Boals I'm making sure we know where Jared Butler and MaCio Teague are at all times.

So, having recently cut my cable, I depend on webcasts to watch Ohio. I'm assuming there is no webcast for this since it is on ESPN2?
