It occurs to me that Jeff doesn’t have many options defensively at this point when an opponent goes off on a 3point binge. The missing 3 players would allow him to press or try something different with the backup guys available. When might we see them?

Miles Brown and BenRod told me at the Iona game they hope to be back in two weeks.

Does anyone know if Price is just not ready for college ball or if he is being eased in after an injury? He looks physically like he can compete but on a team in dire need of wing help now he has burned 2 games in a possible redshirt year.

No way Boals plays him in Heidelberg game and garbage time against Villanova if he didn't think Price will contribute. He's not using a redshirt on Price. Maybe it's just me, but I think Price is still trying to get into playing shape coming off injury. He reminds me a bit of Mychal Green.

I hope you're right. With his winning tradition in high school, scoring ability and size Price would be a welcome addition and he was someone I thought would compete for playing time right away. I guess I hoped he would be back more. Maybe tonight. But I also understand if Boals is playing it safe with him and then with the others when they return. Maybe in the past guys came back too soon and that was the reason for our injury issues. This year is the house money rebuild so I fully get taking time. GO CATS!!!

Price missed all of the preseason and was only recently cleared to return to action between the Bonaventure and Heidelberg games. Roderick on the other hand was performing at starter quality in practice and then was injured in the secret scrimmage. For those reasons, I have a feeling Roderick will return to the rotation this weekend and Price's transition will be more gradual.

Will be nice to have another wing to go with Dartis, Preston and McDay. Would love to see that rotation with Preston, McDay and Dartis still starting with Ogbonda and BVP with Roderick and Foster first off the bench and Springs, Price and McMurray as needed.
