I made a Discord server for chatting, as the chat client here is outdated and very not friendly to mobile. It'll be up at all times, but probably best used for in-game chatting.

Here's the link: https://discord.gg/JC53AV

8 point lead, 1:43 left, let’s secure the ball and use the clock.

Preston is on a trajectory to be better than and OU point guard. He is never rushed. It will be interesting to see him vs. Villanova and Purdue

Great timeout after the free throws, no fouls, secure the ball and make foul shots

Holy cow, we are exciting to watch. I really, really like this team. Anybody know why Price didn't play? Reinjured? Not ready?

Obviously, Preston is a special player. But I'm very excited to see more of Lunden McDay.

What a fun group to watch. Still a couple depth pieces to add throughout the season when healthy. Great team effort.

OU ohhhh yeahhh! Jay Preston🔥

Impressed with his leap forward and, as coach said, Ohio's poise when the game was starting to change momentum in Iona's favor.

Preston is going to be something special. After the St. Bonnie game I predicted Preston would get a triple-double this season. I'm keeping with that prediction.

These guys are fun to watch. Excited to watch this team continue to grow.

That behind his head assist was something nasty.

Speechless. Nobody here expected these two road wins to start the Boals era. A salute to a guy who I thought would provide minimal impact this season....Nolan Foster. The work ethic he provides night in and night out is impressive.

McDay was sensational.

J Preston is playing at another level.

Next two will be fun to watch. I think we'll need monster games from Dartis against 'Nova and Baylor to hang around. Regardless of what happens in those games, this team has already exceeded my expectations and we are only three games in and doing it with Roderick and Price on the bench. Thank you Jeff Boals for reigniting the fire into this program.

Good win but I do have one question.

So, that's the best job Iona can do at live streaming a game and ESPN actually carry it? First couple of minutes not withstanding since they didn't get shown. The local high school football games where I live get broadcast in high definition. That broadcast was garbage. But if there is one thing we all learned from being told fifty times. The student section at Iona was moved to the end zone.

I hope that makes ESPN top ten plays of the day.

The real ESPN. Not ESPN (cough-cough) "plus."

As I stated last night in the football thread, who would have thought in September that by November, basketball would be where the hope would lie for the rest of the season? I mean beating two quality opponents on the road, especially in this game where Iona kept coming back. The tough part comes this Saturday with what one would think would be an angry Villanova squad, returning to the Wells Fargo Center in Philly after getting thumped in Columbus tonight.

It is amazing to think that we are doing this without key players. It will be nice for a change that MAC opponents might be a little nervous when facing the supposed cellar dweller Bobcats. You just gotta wonder what's going through the minds of those who were in Athens last year, but aren't this year?

Well how about that. 3-0. I couldn’t see any of the game but following the game on my phone I’d say Preston was huge. Again. Get this team healthy. As exciting as 3-0 is, I’m salivating to see this group at full strength.

McDay was super good in a couple clutch spots. Have really enjoyed watching his game as a freshman.

Well, to be fair, what's going through Jason Carter's mind right now is that he's starting for a top 25 team which is also 3-0. I doubt he's looking wistfully eastward.

If we can get healthy and get a consistent 8-10 rebound guy, we can compete in the MAC. Miami barely beat Purdue Fort Wayne tonight. NIU and BGSU have two of the best players in the conference, but if McDay and Preston keep growing, I can see us making a run.

Little doubt he'll record multiple triple doubles.

Three games with three double doubles: 2 were points and assists and tonight's was points and rebounds.

I thought TK was a super offensive rebounder for a PG. Preston, on the other hand, is always around missed shots on the defensive side.

I wasn't exclusively thinking about Jason, more specifically members of the former coaching staff. Though they may be happy for the success, yet human nature has got to kick in and wonder in light of the basement projections and last year's more lofty pick, what's happening and why?
