Good for Jason. Happy he got to 1,000 points. I hope he realizes that if he would have gone to Xavier or a bigger school from the start he would never even have sniffed it. He's averaging 6 ppg and 5 rpg right now as the fifth guy. If he would have stayed it would have been exciting to see him teaming with Preston, Dartis, BVP and McDay with Ogbonda off the bench!
First, this doesn't come off as sounding salty at all, just so you know.
Second, remember, if Carter stays, someone else isn't going to end up here -- perhaps Ogbonda, perhaps one of the freshmen.
To that point, I wonder if Xavier will even list him as a 1000 point scorer in their records book.
I would hope that all schools only recognize players totals in the scoring records that were at their school. Or, at least designate what was scored at said school in the record book.
