Talk about inconsistent. Can we play a full 40 minutes in a game please. I have seen both Bowling Green and Miami. In each game we go through long stretches where we just do not play well. Second have scoring especially seems to be an issue although we got 17 points the last three minutes and 30 seconds tonight. Defensively, can we keep Miami small guards in front of us?

It was a real nice comeback. Sorry we waited so long to play well. That was a brutal first half by both teams. Now, onto the tourney. Hope BVP is back
Dude...why pee in our Cheerios? You make some legit points, but we just finished one of the greatest comebacks in Bobcat history and swept our biggest rival.
+1 With Jeff

Apparently McMurray and Springs are not in OUs future.
Does seem you might be able to consider those two more open scholarship spots.
Would Boals consider a former 4-star power forward out of Columbus that has mostly sat the bench at two p5 programs but could be a legit grad transfer?

He passes the look test. Nobody is going to kick sand in this kid's face.

I went back to the ESPN app to watch the final 3:00 again. Man alive...that is one gritty effort. The McDay rebound, Ogbonda tip back and eventual Brown tip-in was a beautiful portrait of inspired grit. Wow! Go Cats!

Boals is a very good in game coach, the future looks bright. He will need to recruit better bigs. He saw a tall, hustle guy in Foster, in the MAC you need mobile bigs that can jump. The bigs in our conference tend to be shorter, but more athletic. I am sure they he will catch on. The guy we almost got that went to UMKC would have been perfect. He averaged 14 and 8 this year.
In defense of Boals, how many options were out there that late in recruiting period when he signed Foster? I mean...he needed a big body. Obviously, Foster isn't ready. He really should red-shirt next season. With Springs, McMurray and Murrell most likely gone after this year....some schollies are going to be available to fix the problem in the paint hopefully. It's ridiculous to see the bunnies that Foster and Sly miss on a consistent basis.

With all that said...what a win. The comeback reminded me of Rush Floyd 3 to beat Kent many years ago. I believe Boals was on that team.
I don't think anyone will be gone after this year unless they choose to in an effort to increase their chance to play somewhere else. Least likely to leave would be Murrell as a senior. Running them out of here after they chose to stay through the coaching change would be very bad form.

They won’t be ran out, but I’m sure Coach Boals has some connections at smaller schools where these guys might have more of an impact.

With the way college hoops is these days...it would be stunning if all three of these guys are on the roster next year: Murrell, Springs and McMurray.

Pee on the parade? I said it was a real good come back. My point is these things Have been there most of the year. We just need to work on them. I’m sure the coaching staff would agree.
