Wait, you couldn't think of who he reminded you of and then remembered he reminds you of one of your most beloved players of all time? Seems like a strange path to realizing comparisons to somebody from a team you speak of often. I was expecting someone much more obscure.

Yes, it was kind of a slow realization that came to me slowly over a period of time. You’ve got to realize how long it’s been since I saw Mike play. Initially, I thought it might have been someone more obscure myself. You are correct that Haley is one of my favorite Ohio players of all time, and I remember certain key plays in big games very well, but I guess I didn’t remember some details of his general style of play right away, but as I thought about it these other more detailed memories started to come back to me. My mind often works like that, and things start flooding back into my consciousness once a certain threshold is reached, but initially it can be hard to pull out the first few facts. Perhaps that’s not the way most people’s minds work, but it’s the way mine does, and I’m stuck with my brain and its synapses.
